Ep. 153 Jenn Drummond: From Life-Threatening Accident to Guinness World Record

A life-threatening car accident changed Jenn Drummond’s outlook on life. This second chance put Jenn on a path to prioritizing personal fulfillment and embracing experiences.

Jenn’s journey includes climbing the Seven Second Summits, the second highest points on each continent. To most mountaineers, these peaks are much more challenging than the traditional seven summits. She started with Ojos del Salado in South America in December of 2020 and her last summit was Mount Logan in North America on June 1st 2023, breaking a Guinness World Record.

Jenn is a mom to seven kids and has learned that any challenge great or small can feel like a mountain to anyone, which is why her family uses the term “Everest” to describe their greatest challenges.

In this episode of Flip Your Script with Kristi Piehl, Jenn emphasizes the value of perseverance and determination and shares how she overcame her car crash and developed the mindset to become a mountain climber.

CHALLENGE FOR LISTENERS:

1. Do you have a bucket list? You can’t have a journey to pursue a goal without naming it.

2. When was the last time you helped someone else achieve their goals? If we can collectively work together on this path towards significance, think of the different efforts that we can collectively accomplish.
