Ep. 120 Rob Kenney: From Growing Up Fatherless to Becoming the Internet’s Dad

Rob Kenney's father left him and his seven siblings when Rob was only 14 years old. His teenage years were filled with anger and confusion. Rob didn’t have a father figure in his life and had to navigate some of life’s challenges on his own.

Rob’s goal was to raise his children into good adults. After the last one moved out, he still felt like he needed to do more. That's when Rob decided to create a YouTube channel called Dad, How Do I?. His videos are full of practical advice, how-tos and dad chats. Rob's channel now has more than 4 million subscribers, and he has taken his wisdom to social media, his podcast and has even authored a book that is part memoir, part inspiration and includes 50 DIY instructions.

In this episode of Flip Your Script with Kristi Piehl, Rob shares how he was able to move forward from his painful childhood to help and encourage people around the world.
