Ep. 2 Vicki Swenson: From Grieving Sister to Victim Advocate
Vicki Swenson’s Flip Your Script story began with a brutal murder. In 2006, her sister, Teri Lee, was killed by an ex-boyfriend who violated a restraining order. Vicki and her husband added Teri’s four children to their family. While grieving her sister and parenting her nieces and nephews, Vicki found the strength to fight for tougher domestic violence laws. Vicki’s family appeared in national news programs and even received a home from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
