Ep. 40 Sheletta Brundidge: From Weeping to Laughing Until You Cry

Talking to Sheletta Brudridge is a mix between attending a comedy show, diving into a deep conversation with a girlfriend and going to church. Her journey of finding joy and giving back while raising kids with autism and losing five family members to a tragic accident has been featured on national and local news. Sheletta has even appeared on Ellen’s Game of Games, is connected to rapper Lil Nas X and her family was given an RV to travel the country. Sheletta, a TV and radio personality, uses her platform to extend the reach of her story. Sheletta has even written and published a children’s book, “Cameron Goes to School,” based on her daughter, to help children learn about autism. Sheletta is also quick to jump into action and serve, whether it’s bringing her books to libraries destroyed by a hurricane or donating carbon monoxide detectors to prevent the loss of loved ones. Sheletta credits her faith life as the source of strength that has helped her navigate the challenges of life, parenting and loss. In this episode of Flip Your Script, host Kristi Piehl and Sheletta discuss finding the joy and humor in life and using your gifts to leave a positive impression. Grab a tissue, you’ll need it!
