Ep. 150 Meir Kay: From Helping the Homeless to Hosting National Super Soul Parties

Meir Kalmanson, better known by his stage name Meir Kay, is a social media activist and YouTube celebrity who spreads positivity and happiness. From a young age, Meir set out to use his own experiences with addiction, mental health and depression to help others.

He is the founder of Super Soul Party, a non-profit dedicated to bringing people together and providing comfort to those facing homelessness across the country. Every year during the Super Bowl, they host Super Soul parties in cities across the U.S., providing a meal, haircut, essential clothing, mental health support and an opportunity to connect with others while watching the game.

Meir has always had a passion for acting and is using his talent in his latest project, Mak and Friendz, a new educational show for young kids, teaching them about themselves and the world around them. Through original songs and interactive activities, Meir teaches topics from emotional intelligence to gratitude, shapes, colors and animals.

In this episode of Flip Your Script with Kristi Piehl, Meir shares the positive impact of small acts of kindness and the power of sharing personal stories to connect with others and to heal.

CHALLENGE FOR LISTENERS:
