Rosemary Ugboajah has flipped her script several times throughout her life and her career. Born in the United Kingdom, Rosemary moved to Nigeria with her parents and went to boarding school only to move back to London as a teenager to start University. After navigating pressure to pursue a career in the sciences, Rosemary made a leap of faith and began art school. Upon completing her degree, she moved across the pond to attend the University of Minnesota for her master's degree and begin a career in the advertising industry. Her unique perspective could have made her an outsider, but instead, she used her background to ask questions and challenge stereotypes in American marketing. This led to her founding Neka Creative, a brand development agency devoted to inclusivity marketing.
