Ep. 38 Brandon Sawalich: From Summer Job to CEO

At age 19, after spending the summer working for Starkey in the All Make Repair & Earmold Lab, Brandon Sawalich, the Illinois born and raised hard-worker, left college to continue his career with Starkey. Brandon used his “first in, last out” work ethic to move up through the ranks during his 26 years with the company, eventually becoming the President of Starkey in 2017. His natural leadership abilities helped him navigate challenging times, including a pandemic, ultimately keeping Starkey focused on their mission, “Hear better. Live better.” Now the President and CEO, Brandon joins host Kristi Piehl for a candid conversation about work ethic, loyalty, forgiveness, leadership and the role Starkey’s hearing aid technology plays in providing connection for those struggling with hearing loss.
