Ep. 63 Rehan Staton: From Sanitation Worker to Harvard Law

The road to Harvard Law School was not an easy one for Rehan Staton. He was only eight years old when his mother left, leaving his family in a tough place financially. They struggled to put food on the table and sometimes went without heat in the winter. In his senior year of high school, Rehan applied to several colleges and got rejected by every single one.

Rehan then took a job as a sanitation worker, hauling trash and cleaning dumpsters to provide for his family. While his colleagues saw his potential and helped him get into college, they weren’t the only ones who believed in him and helped him along the way. In this episode of Flip Your Script, Rehan talks about the sacrifices his family made to help him succeed and exactly who and what got him into law school.
